Common rail turbodiesel prices announced by Volvo

VOLVO has revealed prices for vehicles using its new turbodiesel engine, which will go on sale in late summer.

The 2.4-litre five-cylinder common rail unit was designed and built by Volvo and versions of the S60, V70 and S80 powered by the 163bhp engine will be badged D5.

Prices for the S60 D5 will start at £20,750 on-the-road, while the V70 D5 will begin at £23,960, and the S80 D5 is priced from £22,340.
