Nearly-new car scheme claims 30% saving in rentals

GE Capital Fleet Services claims fleets could slash monthly vehicle rentals by 30% through a new Econolease nearly-new car contract hire and contract purchase scheme. Econolease provides fleets with a wide range of nearly-new cars that are less than nine months old and have less than 15,000 miles on the clock.

Typical savings on a three-year/60,000-mile full maintenance contract range, compared to a new vehicle range from £103 per month on a 2.0-litre Ford Mondeo to £115 per month for a 2.0-litre Vauxhall Omega.
