Saab promises new model every year

SAAB will introduce 'one new model every year', including a sport utility vehicle, over the next few years as it broadens its range to boost sales.

Peter Augustsson, president of Saab Automobile, said at the international launch of the revised 9-5: 'We will launch one new car every year. We will roll out the programme at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show in September, with an interesting concept which will illustrate the direction in which the Saab brand is going. We want a bigger share of the premium market and we will be entering new segments.'
