Mercedes-Benz celebrates its first online car delivery

MERCEDES-BENZ Direct has sold its first used car to a private customer over the internet.

Stuart Hannath took delivery of his Mercedes-Benz A140 Classic within two weeks of visiting the website

Hannath, who works as a credit controller at Louth in Lincolnshire, said: 'The virtual dealership allows you to do everything you can do at a normal car showroom but without ever leaving your own home.'

Only the Mercedes-Benz A140 Classic models are offered through the virtual dealership but the company is planning to extend its online range.

The cars are sourced from the Mercedes-Benz Direct centres in Bristol, Chelmsford, Croydon, Hemel Hempstead, Poole and Waltham Cross.
