GRS hits 2001 milestone

VEHICLE remarketing company GRS ended 2001 on a high note after the delivery of its 10,000th transport consignment.

The landmark consignment of 11 Vauxhall Corsas was delivered for free to JCT 600's Vauxhall dealership in Bradford.

The company's customer base grew to 4,500 during 2001, and includes volume manufacturers, premium brands and light commercial vehicles both nearly new and up to three years old.

GRS marketing manager Michael Payton said: 'Last year was our best year yet and we continue to sell more vehicles to more customers all the time.'

The company guarantees delivery within two working days and works in partnership with logistics company Walon.
