BCA sales highlight Honda's popularity

BRITISH Car Auctions has reported strong demand for Honda cars since the start of the year, with two sales at Brighouse and Nottingham selling a total of 500 vehicles.

Prices averaged 104.5% of CAP Clean. Significant performances included 01Y new Accord saloons achieving 76%, and 01Y 1.6i SE new Civics reaching 80% of current list prices respectively.

Honda's car auction executive Trevor Craig said: 'Honda product continues to perform at the very peak of market expectations, a message that will surely strike a chord with fleet operators around the country. In achieving these results over the last two months, the Honda product continues to move against the current trend of residual value reduction in the trade guides.'
