TOYOTA is recalling more than 43,000 Yaris and Yaris Verso models in the UK to replace the rear brake line.

The recall affects all models fitted with rear drum brakes, built between October 2000 and March 2002, and should take about an hour to carry out, while customers will be given £10 of fuel and a car wash for their inconvenience. The recall was prompted after a case in Finland, where a Yaris Verso brake line was damaged in prolonged sub-zero temperatures.
