Repair buyout

VEHICLE repair group Howard Basford has bought out Ford's stake in the company after a three-and-a-half year joint venture.

Details of the transaction are not being disclosed but Neil Kirk, managing director of Howard Basford, said: 'We have enjoyed an excellent business relationship with Ford and have come to a mutual agreement that the management buyout is best for both companies'. Tracy Howard, the company's founding director, will again take the role as company chairman, Neil Kirk will continue as managing director and Nick Orr as finance director.
