MANHEIM Auctions has launched a credit card-based finance scheme.

Called Manheim Auctions Funding Solutions (MAFS), it allows customers with retail sales premises to purchase used vehicles from Manheim Auctions.

Manheim says it offers no annual fee and competitive interest rates. The credit card is designed for exclusive use at Manheim Auctions centres, giving regular used-car retailers an additional option to finance their used vehicle purchases.

It is backed by a major financial house and has been launched at Manheim Auctions Bristol, Colchester and Leeds. It plans to roll it out by the end of the year.

It added that the benefits of MAFS include up to 120 days' stocking plan, quicker payment processes and the facility to check credit balances at any auction centre. In addition, transportation costs and buyers premium are included in each transaction.

Manheim Auctions group operations director Mark Yates (pictured above) said: 'The introduction of MAFS to our portfolio of value-added services provides our customers with an additional payment option that helps to manage their cash flow. Open exclusively to our customers, it serves as a way of saying thank you for their continued loyalty.'

Customers can apply for a MAFS account by calling Manheim Auctions for an application form on 0870 444 0434.
