KWIK-FIT has announced the retirement of Ron Bambra, managing director and founder of Kwik-Fit Fleet Group.

Mike Wise, who was managing director of Kwik-Fit company FTM Tyrefit, has been appointed as fleet sales director of the group following completion of the sale of Europe's largest independent fast-fit company by Ford to CVC Capital Partners. He will also head FTM.

Wise also joins the newly established Kwik-Fit UK management team headed by chief executive officer Tim Parker.

Wise paid tribute to Bambra saying: 'After a long and successful career establishing Kwik-Fit in the fleet business Ron Bambra is retiring from the company with our thanks and best wishes. He has been one of the leaders in the industry, and his contribution to the company cannot be under estimated.'
