FLEETS can obtain a free advice video on environmental best practice from the Government-backed green fleet award scheme Motorvate. The video is available from the Motorvate helpline on 0808 100 9100.
The video, called Fleets Ahead, offers information on effective green fleet management practices including vehicle specification, driver behaviour and fuel choice for all sizes of vehicle fleets.
It outlines how a typical 200-strong car fleet could save about £20,000 a year with the results going to the company's bottom line.
Experts involved in the making of the video include Stewart Whyte, director of the Association of Car Fleet Operators, and specialists from Peugeot, Vauxhall, the Yorkshire Building Society, TNT Logistics, Bracknell Forest Borough Council and the Energy Saving Trust.
