MOTABILITY celebrated its silver jubilee with Prime Minister Tony Blair handing over the keys of a Ford Fiesta to Motability member Nigel Singh, from Wood Green, in London.

Over the 25 years, the charity has supplied 1.5 million cars to disabled people across the UK, and currently puts 150,000 vehicles a year on the road. Roger Putnam, chairman of Ford Motor Company, said: 'Like Motability, Ford is committed to helping people with disabilities.'
