BMW sales up

BMW has sold more cars by the end November than it did in the whole of 2001.

Including MINI, it has sold 976,300 units, compared to 905,700 for 2001, an increase of 17%. MINI has accounted for 134,000 sales so far worldwide, with the new BMW 7 series shifting 46,200 units. The X5 has been one of the outstanding performers, up 24% to 92,900 for the 11 months.
