Cars Direct opens £1m logistics centre

FLEET and finance remarketing company Cars Direct has launched a new vehicle logistics operation.

Called Cars Direct Group Transport, it will be based at the company's newly-opened £1 million site in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Cars Direct said the new operation complemented its existing expertise in vehicle remarketing and would provide customers a nationwide vehicle delivery service, with guaranteed vehicle collection and delivery normally within 48 hours of the order being placed.

'As one of the UK's leading vehicle remarketing specialists we understand the automotive industry and the importance the trade places on the efficient, reliable and cost-effective movement of vehicles and stock,' said Cars Direct managing director Roger Woodward.

'From passenger cars and light commercials to heavy duty trucks, regardless of whether you need to move one vehicle or 100, we are confident that Cars Direct Group Transport will offer its customers a one-stop shop to meet all vehicle logistic requirements.'
