Vodafone calls on the buses

VODAFONE has launched a new system to inform staff at its Newbury headquarters when the firm's shuttle bus will arrive at its site to help cut down on car travel.

By summer, Vodafone's fleet of buses will each be equipped with a Global Positioning Satellite unit which will transmit and update the buses' progress around town.

Staff wanting information can access the information on their PCs.
