FIAT, Peugeot and Citroen have revealed the first official pictures of the new vehicles in their joint-MPV project.

The new Fiat Ulysse, Peugeot 807 and Citroen C8 can seat up to eight people and will go on sale in the UK this summer.

All three will be powered by either a 136bhp 2.0-litre and a 204bhp 3.0 V6, or two common rail diesel engines - a 109bhp 2.0-litre and a 134bhp 2.2-litre. The diesels will be badged HDi in the French cars and JTD in the Fiat.

While the cars will be available with the 3.0 V6 in mainland Europe, this engine will not be coming to the UK. However, the Peugeot and Citroen will be offered with a 160bhp 2.2-litre petrol motor already used in the Peugeot 406 and 607.

All three cars, which replace the existing Fiat Ulysse, Peugeot 806 and Citroen Synergie, will have their first public outings at next week's Geneva Motor Show.
