Low running costs makes Citroen C5 the first choice

SPECIALIST equipment rental group Vp has taken delivery of its first Citroen C5s, with the company expecting to add up to 50 2.0 HDi models a year to its fleet.

The Harrogate-based company is providing 90bhp LX models and 110bhp SX models to its sales engineers, technical managers and sales and area representatives.

The cars have been supplied on a 42-month contract hire agreement through TC Harrison Leasing and are contracted to cover about 100,000 miles during that time.

Martin Noble-Nesbit, Vp's group procurement manager, said: 'The Citroen C5 met all our key operational requirements.

'The cars provide low cost of operation and good fuel consumption, together with high levels of safety, comfort and convenience.'
