CONSTRUCTION industry supplier Shorco has replaced nearly a quarter of its fleet with Peugeots following the popularity among drivers of the one Peugeot 406 estate it previously had.

The firm has taken delivery of three Partner HDi vans, three 406 estates, a 307 and three 607s, with all but one HDi models. The firm is intending to replace the rest of its 45-strong fleet with Peugeot vehicles when they come up for renewal.

Shorco's financial director Paul Clayton said: 'The drivers who have Peugeots really enjoy driving them and as a result are looking after their cars.'
