ENTERPRISE Rent-A-Car has secured two major contracts with leading leasing companies Interleasing and ING Car Lease.

The deal with Interleasing to supply short-term hire vehicles is worth £12 million a year. Enterprise will be responsible for maintaining the mobility of Interleasing's customers, whenever they are left without a vehicle.

Phil Bastow, operations director of Interleasing, said: 'We undertook a thorough analysis of the market and have determined the service requirements, both now and into the future. Enterprise was able to demonstrate the outlook, consistency and systems that we had identified as key in providing market-leading service.'

Enterprise has also become the primary supplier of short-term rental vehicles for ING Car Lease in a two year deal, worth £1 million.

The contract, which follows a six month trial period, sees the firm supplying an extensive range of vehicles to suit all customers, from compact hatchbacks to panel vans throughout the UK.
