Top-level backing for Comet driver award

A FLEET safe driving campaign by electrical retailer Comet received top-level backing from its managing director during its annual driver of the year awards.

Paul Banks beat 59 colleagues to take the driver of the year award trophy. He received his prize from Rob Cisell, managing director of the Comet Group, and also secured use of a Ford Focus, supplied by the event's key sponsor, Ford.

Comet's Driver of the Year Award aims to reward safe motoring and motivate the company's 'driving' workforce of more than 1,000 drivers.
