THE penultimate heat of the Kwik-Fit 2002 National Karting Challenge, held in association with Fleet News, was a triumph for Vardy Contract Motoring.

Heat six of the challenge was held at Bradford's Pro-Karting stadium and provided a feast of driving with Vardy sweeping the honours as it took all three podium positions with operations director Mike Roe leading Dave Royal and Carl Moffatt on the lap of honour.

But Vardy Contract Motoring won the day and will join the other qualifiers for the grand final to be held in Milton Keynes on June 9.
