Ford denies Volvo sale rumour

FORD has denied reports it plans to sell its Volvo Cars subsidiary.

The Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri reported that Ford was planning to sell Volvo - part of its Premier Automotive Group - for 8.3 billion Euro (£5.3 billion). Nick Scheele, Ford president and chief operating officer, is reported to have dismissed the report as 'absolute rubbish'.
