Iveco gas power

IVECO has launched a gas-powered version of its Daily City Truck with an eye to busting through London's proposed congestion charging line. The vehicles are powered by CNG, and come in 10 different styles, including panel vans and chassis cabs. The models are powered by Iveco's 2.8-litre engine, and will have a range of between 150 and 170 miles.

Chris Thorneycroft, director, light business unit, said: 'We've already taken orders from a number of London municipalities and are expecting strong interest from parcel carriers and home delivery firms.'
