New base Stilo

FIAT has introduced a new entry-level diesel version of the Stilo. The five-door only Stilo 1.9 JTD Active uses an 80bhp version of the common rail diesel (other versions boast 115bhp), also found in the Punto.

The lower-powered car costs £1,000 less on the road than the previous base diesel model, at £10,835 on the road, and offers a combined fuel consumption figure of 51.4mph and carbon dioxide emissions of 146g/km.

  • Alfa Romeo has announced a price increase across its range of 1%, in line with recent price increases for the revised 156 models. It means the entry-level Alfa 147 1.6 Turismo now costs £13,300 on the road – an increase of £125.
