DUPONT has introduced an employee car ownership scheme for its 400 company car drivers.

The company, which manufactures a wide range of products in agriculture and nutrition, nylon, performance coatings, pigments and chemicals, has awarded an £8 million contract to vehicle leasing company Zenith Vehicle Contracts to manage the scheme.

Zenith will arrange funding, vehicle acquisition, administration and maintenance through an employee car purchase scheme that was devised by Pricewater- houseCoopers, a company which has already worked with Zenith on many other contracts.

Dupont's user-chooser drivers can access information and order their cars through the Zenith website.

Zenith's sales and marketing director Philip Jerome said: 'This agreement with such a well-respected company is a tribute to Zenith's innovative approach to fleet management and our ability to work alongside other professionals to deliver a top quality service.'
