VOLKSWAGEN has reduced the price of its Sharan people carrier by £900. The special offer, which means the 2.0-litre Sharan SL costs £17,495, lasts until September 30.

VW is also knocking £1,000 off all Sport and Carat models, including the range-topping V6 4MOTION with 204bhp and intelligent four-wheel drive, which, during the offer period, costs £25,705.
