Helphire signs up Bristol Street in Rover supply deal

REPLACEMENT hire car company Helphire Group has signed up Bristol Street Rover as a supplier. In a contract worth £750,000 at showroom prices, Bristol Street Rover's business motoring centre will supply Helphire with up to 30 Rover 75 saloons and Tourers.

It has so far delivered 21 Rover 75s to the Helphire fleet which totals more than 2,000 vehicles.

Helphire supplies replacement vehicles to people involved in accidents, where they were not at fault, and currently assists more than 2,000 motorists a month. 'This announcement marks the strengthening of our position as one of the leading corporate suppliers of MG Rover products to businesses of all sizes throughout the UK,' said Lance Rule, Bristol Street's MG Rover corporate and brand manager.

He added that this deal 'demonstrates returning confidence in MG Rover within the fleet and leasing industry.

'The range is ideal for all business users with ranges and models to meet all business needs, from the sole trader right up to the major plcs.'
