cfc solution for Scottish Power

SCOTTISH Power has invested in a new integrated fleet and workshop software package for its 5,000-vehicle fleet.

The company needed new software, supplied by cfc solutions, to provide management of both its fleet and workshop operations, and to provide in-depth control and analysis of its fleet costs and vehicle utilisation.

Ian Brodie, finance manager of Scottish Power, said: 'Our old systems had been updated on a continual basis as Scottish Power had grown, but no longer provided the level of sophistication, especially in cost control and management information, that we needed.'

The new software covers the company's entire UK fleet, from ScottishPower's workshops to the desktops of the company's fleet management team. The deal represents the largest software implementation for cfc solutions this year.
