BVRLA expands

THE British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association has begun the first stage of an expansion campaign to bring in new members.

It has created a new role of membership development manager, whose role is focused on developing existing relationships with full and associate members, while bringing in new members.

Potential members would include manufacturers, insurers, software companies and auction houses, as the BVRLA seeks to expand its role within the industry.

A spokesman said: 'We are, at the same time seeking to raise quality standards wherever possible and we do this through encouragement, training and through strict enforcement of the mandatory Code of Conduct.'
