Blades replaced as MD of Fiat Auto (UK)

FIAT Auto (UK) has a new managing director, appointed as part changes in the management of the Fiat and Alfa Romeo marques.

Jim Blades is to step down as managing Director of Fiat Auto (UK) 'to continue his career outside of Fiat Auto' to be replaced by Massimo Toso from August 1, 2002. Toso will be responsible for the Fiat/Commercial Vehicle Business Unit.

Fiat Auto SpA has also completed the re-organisation of its affiliate companies, to reflect the changes already introduced at its Italian headquarters. Fiat Auto (UK) has been divided into autonomous business units for the Fiat and Alfa Romeo brands.
