Land Rover launches Fragile Earth off-roading policy

LAND ROVER has published a new Fragile Earth Policy aimed at drivers who venture off-road. The policy outlines the company's commitment to the environment and details key Land Rover environmental policies and technologies.

Fragile Earth also includes the company's off-road code, explaining how careful driving can preserve the environment for future generations.

Guidelines include making sure you do not startle animals, going 'as slow as possible and as fast as necessary', making sure the vehicle is not leaking oil and taking all litter home.

Land Rover is also collaborating with the Born Free Foundation, Royal Geographic Society, Biosphere Expeditions and China Exploration and Research Society on schemes to be unveiled at a later date.
