Classic cars under the hammer

A GOLDEN Jubilee sale held by BCA Blackbushe saw more than 60 classic vehicles go under the hammer.

Among the vehicles on offer was a pre-production MG C Convertible and a 1952 Triumph Renown from the hit TV series Darling Buds of May.

A 1928 Austin 12/4 Windsor from the Arthur Fox estate sold for £18,300, well above its £12,000 estimate, while a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 made £22,500.

A full catalogue for the next historical sale, on August 5, is available at www.classic- car-auction.co.uk
