SKODA has announced a new initiative aimed at improving its service for company car drivers.

The company is opening 17 business sales centres at selected dealers, increasing to 25 by next year with an ultimate target of 40, in response to feedback from fleet customers.

The company wants to provide unrivalled bespoke services to fleet managers responsible for up to 200 vehicles, and has reviewed its strategy, expecting an increase in fleet demand for its vehicles, particularly the new Superb.

There will be two dedicated demonstrators at the business centres, funded by SkodaAuto, and a specifically appointed and trained member of staff will lead each centre.

John Rooney, head of Skoda business sales, said: 'The business sales centres really demonstrate how far the brand has developed over recent years and signify the importance we attribute to fleet and business users.'
