TWO new variants of the Ford Focus will go on sale in time for the new 52 registration in September.

A special edition Focus Flight, developed from the five-door LX, will be priced from £10,995 on-the-road and include Ford's Intelligent Protection System (twin dual stage airbags) air conditioning, and a 1.6-litre petrol engine. Meanwhile, Ford will offer a lower-power version of the 1.8 TDCi common rail diesel engine in the Focus. The 99bhp 1.8 TDCi will be £400 cheaper than the equivalent 113bhp TDCi model, and offer carbon dioxide emissions of 138g/km and combined fuel consumption of 54.8mpg.
