GREAT Manchester Ambulance Service has added three new incident support units to its fleet after they completed a tour of duty at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Three new incident support units, fitted with equipmet from racking specialist Bri-Stor Systems, managed incidents at the stadiums hosting the games, which ran until August 4.

They are now being used to provide emergency service backup throughout the Greater Manchester area.

Each vehicle is equipped with state-of-the-art communication equipment, compressors, medical equipment inflatable tents, portable lighting and heating units.
