Hatcher Components has launched a three-in-one bulkhead which converts a standard van into a sleeper cab for two. The self-contained sleeping compartment also has plenty of storage space under the lower bunk and the unit comes with a large storage pocket.

Drinks holders and a reading light are among the options. Alternatively, the bulkhead can be arranged into a crew cab. When not in use it can be locked in two positions. When closed up behind the driver's seat, it provides protection from moving loads and only takes up 10in of cargo space.

Also, the unit can be locked in the rear position to provide a separate storage space. It will fit Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Volkswagen LT and the company is already working on designs for the Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato. The bulkhead costs £1,395.
