Mitsubishi on warpath with new L200

MITSUBISHI has launched a special edition of its L200 double cab with darkened windows, alloy wheels and black or silver paint.

Called the Warrior, the new model will go on sale in September.

More than 9,000 pick-up trucks have been sold in the first six months of 2002 and Mitsubishi is leading the market with a 41% share.

Prices for the Warrior will start at £16,995 (excluding VAT) with an optional leather interior costing £1,000 more. Mitsubishi expects to sell 1,200 Warriors during 2002.
