Jazz's auto option

HONDA'S automatic version of the Jazz supermini has gone on sale, offering a continuously variable transmission with a seven-speed manual shift facility.

The transmission can be used like a manual by pushing buttons on the steering wheel to change up and down the virtual gears, but as with many CVTs the automatic transmission does not have an adverse effect on fuel consumption and emissions. CVT-7 is available as a £900 option on Jazz SE and SE Sport models, priced at £11,195 and £12,195 on the road.
