M&G Self Drive, a part of Britain's biggest rental firm Northgate, enjoyed a double celebration with the opening of a new site and the first anniversary of another location.

The new depot in Grimsby follows the takeover of KW Sadley, with M&G acquiring the premises and 260 vehicles.

The addition takes the number of M&G locations to three, including a site in Scunthorpe, which recently celebrated a year since it first opened, marking the most rapid expansion of the company in its 16 year history.

Adrian Kilvington, managing director of M&G said: 'The expansion into this area is a sign that there is a definite market here.'
