FLEETS will now be able to retrieve stolen cars from anywhere in Europe after vehicle tracking company NavTrak announced that it has extended its recovery service across all European countries.

The firm has gone into partnership with Eurowatch, a company that transfers stolen vehicle data to police in all European countries, making 'a break for the border' by thieves a pointless exercise. Euro- watch then works with local forces to recover stolen vehicles.

Giles Harridge, managing director of NavTrak, said: 'Our enhanced stolen vehicle tracking and recovery service gives fleet and rental operators the opportunity to minimise their stolen vehicle losses. NavTrak's pan-European cover is invaluable for any fleet or rental operator.'

Harridge added: 'With our pan-European cover, NavTrak is essential for any fleet or rental operator that runs high value cars, feels its vehicles are at particular risk, or knows they often go into continental Europe.

'Minimising stolen vehicle losses can have substantial financial benefits, not least on a company's insurance costs.'
