Fresh cruiser

TOYOTA has revealed details of its new Land Cruiser which will go on sale in the UK in January 2003. The new Land Cruiser will replace the current Land Cruiser Colorado and will be sold alongside the Land Cruiser Amazon, and promises to offer the most powerful diesel in its class as well as a new 4.0-litre petrol V6 engine.

Toyota promises the same uncompromising off-road ability as before, but with improved on-road manners. New features include a European-designed exterior, improved quality interior a limited-slip centre differential, semi-active suspension Hill-start Assist control (HAC) and Downhill Assist Control (DAC).
