FLEETS have their last chance to sign up for Move Your Fleet Online, which takes place next week.

The full speaker line-up has been announced for the event, organised by Fleet News and Fleet NewsNet and held in association with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and sponsored by Inchcape Fleet Solutions.

Christopher Macgowan, chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, will chair the event while Michael Beet, sales director of Inchcape Fleet Solutions, will take a fleet perspective on the future of online solutions.

Sandy Duckett, fleet business manager for Scottish Power, will explain how his organisation saved money by using reverse internet auctions to acquire cars, while Andrew Knight, of Supply Chain Consultants, will look at other online purchasing strategies.

Speakers from used car valuation expert CAP and disposals firm Manheim Auctions will look at online selling of fleet vehicles, while Hywel Houghton-Jones, head of purchasing for Nationwide Building Society, will explain how online security keeps data safe.

Finally John Wright, of the Leasing Group, and Don Armour, issue manager for the Freight Transport Association, will look at present and future applications of telematics.

Move Your Fleet Online will be held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire, on Tuesday (January 28).
