Sell-out sale heralds the new year

BUYERS 'picked the bones clean' on Vauxhall's first sale of the year at BCA Measham, with a 100% sell-out.

Around 90 cars an hour were sold, with the final total standing at 338 and turnover exceeding £3 million. The new Vectra averaged 80% of current list price across the board.

Alan Gupwell, BCA's sales manager, manufacturer national accounts, said: 'Already we have established a significant benchmark for the year ahead. To sell nearly 350 cars in one sale for an average of 5% above CAP Clean is a remarkable achievement.
