Citroen's £1m van supply deal is in the pipeline

CITROEN commercial vehicles has delivered nearly 100 vans to a North-East based pipe-laying company in a deal worth more than £1 million.

The 75 Relay 1800 2.8 HDi long wheelbase vans and 20 Berlingo 1.9D LX 600 vans have been supplied to Fastflow Pipelines Services. The company, which specialises in repairing, renewing and refurbishing pipelines for clients in the water industry, already has a fleet of a further 140 vehicles, mostly Ford and Mercedes-Benz.

The new Citroens will be operated on two and three-year Citroen Contract Motoring contract hire agreements, with maintenance, and are expected to cover 20,000 miles a year.
