AUDI'S range-topping V6 version of the A3 is now on sale, fitted with the company's Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) as an option.

The A3 3.2 V6 quattro Sport is priced at £23,665 on-the-road for the six-speed manual and £25,065 for the six-speed DSG. The DSG is a manual transmission but has a fully-automatic mode and operates as smoothly as a conventional automatic, with none of the usual fuel consumption and emission penalties.
