FORD could be set to steal the thunder from the other muscle truck builders with a new edition of the Ranger - appropriately called the Thunder (pictured).

Priced at £17,150, it comes with moody black and silver paintwork, spot lamps and Thunder decals. It is also the first Ford Ranger to have a full leather interior. Based on the Ranger XLT, only 750 Ranger Thunder models went on sale on September 1. The paintwork is complemented by a charcoal grey leather interior.
Spot lamps in the front bumper add to the macho look.
