Fleet News Europe Tax Guide 2003 now online

The Fleet News Europe Tax Guide 2003, produced in association with global professional services company PricewaterhouseCoopers and sponsored by LeasePlan, is now online.

Full analysis of the 16 countries included is now accessible by clicking on the 'tax analysis' button to the left of this page.

It aims to guide fleet executives through the myriad technicalities that govern the taxation of cars in Europe.

The countries included in the guide has been increased this year and now covered are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The guide considers such issues as VAT, vehicle tax, business tax, cross border transactions, stamp duties, wage tax and social security contributions, personal income tax, corporate income tax, benefit-in-kind liability in the pan-European fleet environment.
