Lombard tyre deal for Kwik-Fit

KWIK-FIT Fleet has won a sole supply agreement to provide Lombard's vehicle leasing arm with tyres for its 92,000-vehicle fleet.

As part of the new contract Kwik-Fit Fleet will provide call centre support for Lombard's Service Solution, including a one-number driver support facility for its motoring needs.

Lombard director Shankar Ramanathan said: 'The growth in our customer base and fleet size means it is even more important that our business partners can meet our customers' needs. Kwik-Fit demonstrated it has the capability, flexibility, resource and commitment to meet our existing and future requirements.'

Kwik-Fit Fleet sales director Mike Wise said: 'Kwik-Fit Fleet already manages a substantial proportion of Lombard's tyre business so we are delighted to win the whole contract. Following last year's acquisition of Kwik-Fit by CVC Capital Partners we are focusing heavily on our call centre activities and we have plans to enhance our already comprehensive package in that area with additional products and services.'
