Geneva Motor Show: Jaguar unveiled

JAGUAR showed the production-ready XJ to Europe for the first time at the show.

The car, which has been attracting rave reviews from the press, starts at £39,000 on-the-road for the 3.0-litre V6 XJ6. The range-topping Super V8 will cost £68,500, the 3.5-litre V8 £48,000, 4.2-litre V8 £51,500 and the high performance 400bhp XJR, £58,500.

SE and Sports variants are priced identically. Its lightweight aluminium construction will help to give it some of the lowest benefit-in-tax bills in its class when it goes on sale in April.
