Safe pet plea

UNRESTRAINED pets in cars can hurt or kill a driver or their passengers in an accident, a new campaign is warning.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents has produced a leaflet on carrying pets safely in vehicles and gives information about safety harnesses, pet carriers, dog guards and travel cages or crates. Advice can be found on the society's website www.rospa.com
